RE PUNK

RE-PUNK is mainly made from second hand and vintage clothes, 50's - 90's dead stock materials, remnants from waste fabrics such as broken umbrellas, old sheets, teared curtains, and so on into "wearable art". 
You can go out with it, as well as hang it on the wall at home.

 I used the motifs such as the Atomic Bomb, famous American figures, unidentified flying objects, city buildings. as well as iconic Japanese things, Fujiyama, Tokyo Tower, and so on.

J.A.P - Japanese Anarcho Punk - 2008 Rotterdam Holland

Inspirations are from WW2 Atomic Bomb attacks, and the process of deconstruction/reconstruction of Japanese cultures after the events. Which has been over controlled by USA. 
Also my questioning of modern consumerism in fashion, I used a high percentages of recycled material.
